Allison CD-850 Transmission Upgrade

Ashot Ashkelon offers an upgrade package for the Allison CD-850 transmission, which is a new improvement kit upgrading the transmission to match 900-1000 HP engines.

The new kit is aimed at improving the transmission’s reliability and maintainability as well as extending its lifespan.

Our customers use these transmissions on improved M-60 tanks and on other improved armored platforms.

The package is fully tested, "Type Classified", ordered and used by the IDF.

The improvement kit includes the following:

• Modified side cover including improved output shaft
• High volume oil pump
• Improved heavy duty
• Improved steering differential (breaking)
• Improved oil filters (improved maintainability)
• New final drive-transmission connector
• Improved engine-transmission connection shaft
• Improved housing

Ashot can also supply the improvements included in Kit 6BX (our customer designation 6CX improves the transmission from 6B to 6C) as: input gear set, input bearing, bearing brake, turbo-charger, engine-transmission connecting shaft, and oil passes.
