As a vertically integrated company, Ashot has full in-house capabilities to supply turn-key products.

The wide range of machinery at Ashot’s disposal enables the company to manufacture gears, gearboxes and transmissions, long and short shafts, tungsten products, and other mechanical and electromechanical systems. Ashot owns state of the art machines for precision machining, supplied by Pfauter- Gleason, Mazak, Red Ring, Studer, Cincinnati, Okuma, Hitachi Seiki, Tacchi, Maho, and others. Extensive tooling and gauging resources, quality machines, as well as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) on the shop floor enable Ashot's equipment to run at maximum productivity and maintain very high quality.

Ashot uses all kinds of steel alloys, stainless steel, titanium, and nickel-based super-alloys and composite materials either as bars, forgings, castings or plates.

Our machining capabilities, enabled by more than 300 machines, include: milling, turning, CNC machining centers, deep-hole drilling and boring, bottle boring, grinding, threads grinding, gear cutting including hobbing, skiving, shaping, broaching, grinding, and lapping. The machines support large product machining at very close tolerances.

Extensive resources are dedicated to lean manufacturing throughout the company, subsequently enabling Ashot to provide customers with the requisite level of quality and service.

The company’s annual capital investments include purchasing new machines to expand the company’s capabilities, as well as adding novel technologies according to recent projects and customer requirements.

The company is ISO9001:2000 and AS9001:B approved and has NADCAP approval for its special processes.

Gear cutting: up to Module 16, Dmax = 900mm, Quality: AGMA 13
Machining: Up to D = 1m, L = 2m
Long shaft: Up to 2.0 m and 450 mm diameter
