Shafts for Jet Engine
Ashot specializes in manufacturing a broad range of long and short shafts for jet engines. Ashot has core competencies and capabilities in machining, processing and materials technologies, which enable us to manufacture a wide range of engine shafts constructed from various materials, from conventional steel to titanium and nickel-based super-alloys.
As a vertically integrated company, deep-hole drilling and boring by push or pull techniques, vertical heat treatment, testing and high-speed balancing are some of Ashot’s capabilities for producing a variety of turbofan and turboprop jet engine shafts, as well as shafts for helicopters and APUs. More than 25,000 shafts have been manufactured during the last 15 years for companies such as Rolls-Royce, GE, Honeywell, and others.
